Michelle is the owner of Hardy Alternative Health Services and she offers various types of classes that assist families throughout their pregnancy and into the parenting phase of their lives. 

Traditional Childbirth Education:  In this class families learn about nutrition, the dynamics of labor and delivery, natural and medicated comfort options so that they can make educated decisions on what is in the best interest of their family, potential interventions, postpartum care and newborn care.  (This class is offered as a five week series, two day series or one day class for those who time is of the essence).

Hypnosis for Childbirth:  There are two different types of hypnosis for childbirth classes offered.  The first type of class is for the new (first time) mother / family in which participants learn all the things in the regular childbirth education class as well as how to utilize hypnosis techniques for comfort during labor, birth and into parenting.  The second class is for families who have previously had a child and do not need all of the education but instead need the classes tailored to them or who just need the hypnosis component.

Happiest Baby on the Block:  In this class families will learn how to soothe their baby utilizing the method taught by Dr. Harvey Karp.  They will learn the method of the 5 S's and how to implement each technique  (even works great with colicky babies).

Infant Massage:  In the class families learn how to utilize massage techniques to bond with their baby, relieve colic and emotional stress, create relaxation, increase body awareness, aid in muscle tone and growth, and much more.

Massage Techniques for use in labor:  This class is for couples who want to utilize massage techniques during the labor and birthing process.  The support person is shown techniques and is given the opportunity to implement those techniques with the assistance of a licensed massage therapist.
