About / Bio
I’m a birth doula, an aspiring midwife, a reproductive justice activist, and a mom. I’ve been interested in women’s health, pregnancy, and childbirth for as long as I can remember, but my journey as a doula started in 2016 when I began volunteering as a birth doula in Chicago. I took some time off to have a baby, move back to Milwaukee, and go back to school, and I’m thrilled to be returning to doula work now, in my hometown.
I believe that every birth deserves and can benefit from doula support, and that the needs, desires, and perspectives of all pregnant people and families should be respected and honored. I strive to provide practical, evidence-based information, skilled physical support, and compassionate emotional support to my clients during pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I bring a passion for reproductive health and a deep curiosity about people to my practice, and I hope to help expand access to holistic health and wellness by working with families that are new to doula care.
