November meeting topic: An important discussion on perinatal mood anxiety disorders. We will hear from the Milwaukee organization, Moms Mental Health Initiative, and a therapist who specializes in working with women who are experiencing perinatal depression and anxiety. Join us so you can learn about what resources are available for families in SE Wisconsin as well as tips and tools that you can utilize with the families you serve.
At C.A.R.E. Network meetings, we discuss a different topic each month, with different members leading and presenting. Topics vary, but they are always centered around healthy moms, babies, new family issues, pregnancy, birth, infant care, and/or postpartum.
Examples of past meeting topics: hypnosis for birth, birth worker safety, acupuncture for pregnancy and the postpartum period, chiropractic care for pregnancy, breastfeeding after breast surgery, herbs for a healthier pregnancy and postpartum period, infant loss etc.
*You do not need to be a member of C.A.R.E. Network to attend our meetings. We welcome you to attend as many meetings as you’d like so you can learn about our community and get involved.
